All True BusinessID® + EV SSL Certificates include the fully qualified domain name listed in the Common Name (CN) field in the Subject Alternative Name (SAN) fields as well as the root domain. The root domain will be included when the CN is for www.domain.com or *.domain.com and the fully qualified domain name consists of three levels.

For example, if we receive an order for www.domain.com, both www.domain.com and domain.com will be included as values in the SAN fields.

Typically it is expected that True BusinessID® + EV is delivered within 48 hours of receiving all of the required identity documentation. Generally we advise customers to allow 21 days to gather the required identity documentation.

To qualify for True BusinessID® + EV the company requesting the Certificate must be registered as a corporation or equivalent with the appropriate government agency in its country of jurisdiction. Official government agency records must include the company's registration number, date of registration or incorporation and the registered office or address. If the company has been registered for less than 3 years, GeoTrust® must verify operational existence through one of the following means :

Through a non-government data source (such as Dun & Bradstreet). The non-government data source must include the companies place of business address.

By verifying the organisation has an active demand deposit account (such as a checking account) with a regulated financial institution through a Lawyer's Opinion Letter or directly with the financial institution.

GeoTrust® will send an e-mail containing further information about acceptable documents once your order has been submitted for processing.
